I bought my 77'[XR75] new and have had it ever since. It sat for years in the back of my garge for like 24 years and never touched it, now it is almost rebuild with many many parts from RE-MX. The bike is now highly modified w/YZ85 forks, front wheel, triple clamps (had to machine a new triple clamp stem) used your bearings which work great. A Poweral 98cc big bore stroke kit. ... that was fun and [the] CDI helps. It always starts on the first kick and runs fine. It is faster than with out the CDI but not a neck jerker. I think it could go faster if the timing was advanced a little but its just fine for a rider. Dennis, Texas

There is a guy on ebay selling "MR50 aftermarket ignition cover gaskets". I made the mistake of buying one... The item can best be described as a vacuum cleaner drive belt. It is a 1/2 inch wide, @ 1/16" thick flat plastic band, with no ribs. Don't know how it will hold up in the sunlight or to gasoline... I should have just spent a little more to get the real deal from you in the first place. Rick, Hawaii
